Ajrakh is most ancient art form traced around 5000 years old. It is complicated hand-block printing method from Sindh (now in Pakistan), Kutch, Gujarat (India) using natural colors extracted from minerals, metals, camel dung and vegetables, fruits. Its motifs are inspired by nature like Sun, Plants and Stars and resembles geometrical shapes. Ajrakh modal silk saree in Red and white vertical stripes with temple border looks very stylish.
